Senior Housing Selection

Class of 2026 Senior Housing Selection

Class of 2026 senior housing selection will once again be limited to 80 initial students.

For the 2025-26 academic year, we anticipate limited availability of on-campus housing. We will have 80 spaces allotted for senior housing.  After our initial 80 spaces are reserved, we will make placements based on availability: 

  • Senior housing is allocated to the properties on North Weber.
  • All spaces will be furnished starting with the 2024-2025 academic year.
  • Housing rates for 2025-26 will be finalized during the Spring 2024 Semester.
For any student receiving financial aid, please note that your aid does not change if you live off-campus. Determine your estimated savings by looking at your Fall 2024 bill and reducing the charges by any room and board charges on your account. Connect with Financial Aid via email or schedule an appointment if you have any questions. 
Process Overview for Returning Students (including Seniors): 
This new process consists of four key parts, each activated by specific dates: 
  1. Part 1: Application 
  • Opening Date: Friday, November 15, 2024, at 10 AM 
    • Includes: 
      • Demographic Information 
      • Emergency/Missing Person Contact 
      • Housing Preferences 
        • LLC Requests 
      • Acknowledgment Page 
  1. Part 2: Contract 
  • Available to Sign: Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 2 PM 
    • Notes: 
      • The contract must be signed before participating in roommate matching and/or room selection. 
      • Meal Plan selection (tentative) will also occur at this stage. 
  1. Part 3: Roommate Matching 
    1. Senior Process: 
      • Opens: Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 2 PM 
      • Closes: Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 5 PM 
        • Last addition for contract signers: January 15 at 3 PM 
    1. Returner (Non-Senior) Process: 
      • Opens: Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 2 PM 
      • Closes: Monday, February 10, 2025, at 5 PM 
        • Last addition for contract signers: February 10 at 3 PM 
    1. Reminders: 
      • Roommate matching is only available to students who have signed the contract prior to the closing date. 
      • Group matching is limited by eligibility (e.g., rising seniors can only match with other rising seniors). 
      • Exception requests must be submitted in writing to housing@coloradocollege.edu before the end of the matching period. 
  1. Part 4: Room Selection/Assignment 
    1. Senior Room Selection: 
      • Available: January 20, 2025, at 2 PM to January 30, 2025, at 5 PM 
    1. Returner (Non-Senior) Room Selection: 
      • Available: February 20, 2025, at 2 PM to March 5, 2025, at 5 PM 
    1. Room Swap/Change: 
      • Available: March 10, 2025, at 2 PM to March 20, 2025, at 5 PM
