Excel at CC

Excel at CC is Colorado College's in-house professional development program. Workshops are designed for staff and faculty learning and are primarily facilitated by our in-house talent of higher education professionals. Through Excel at CC, we offer 30+ live training sessions per year to support employee development and engagement. Participants who attend Excel at CC sessions can look forward to the opportunity to learn and grow their skills, as well as the chance to engage with other members of the campus community. 12/4: How to Vacation Well

Facilitated by Janelle Taylor from Wellness.

Taking a vacation and time away from our busy work schedules offers unique opportunities and some challenges. Join in your colleague in exploring “How to Vacation Well”, an interactive workshop where you will gain insights about your vacation style, learn strategies for making the most of your time off, and explore how to enhance your enjoyment of your time off. The workshop is participatory and engagement in pre-workshop activities is encouraged.

 

1/22: Question, Persuade, Refer

Facilitated by Sally Goodquist from Wellness.

QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) is a suicide prevention workshop. We will discuss stigma and public health concerns around suicide, learn to recognize warning signs of suicide, identify how to support, and help someone who is experiencing thoughts of suicide connect to resources.
