Rachel Phillips

Rachel Phillips (they/them/their’s) is an Organismal Biology & Ecology major, Southwest Studies minor from a small town in East Tennessee. They are a first-generation student, second-generation immigrant, and a Questbridge Scholar here at Colorado College.

As a Queer Peer Mentor with the Queer and Trans Collective, they hope to encourage students to not be afraid of being true to themselves. Their job within the QTC is mainly event-planning and running the QTC’s Instagram (@the_qtc_cc). However, they enjoy building relationships with students and guiding them through topics such as mental health and wellness, consent, and gender/sexuality expression. They also will provide support to any student who reaches out! You can contact them at r_phillips@coloradocollege.edu.

In their free time, they like to take care of their small army of plants, partake in any of the arts, and cook food in the dorm kitchens. They love looking outdoors for bugs too!
