Hello! My name is Jordan Bates (he/him), and I'm currently a student in CC's Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program, getting my licensure in elementary education. I am a Graduate Assistant at the Butler Center and will be supporting our Student Success programs, which include the Achieve First Program, Thrive Fellowship Program, Daniels Fund, and Denver Scholarship Foundation.

During my undergrad, I mentored for both the Stroud Scholars and Bridge Scholars programs, and was also involved in sexual safety work, which included working in the SARC's office. These experiences solidified my love for work involving advocacy, support, and engagement with people who have both similar and different identities to me, and eventually brought me here. I'm excited to contribute to the safe space the Butler Center provides for so many, and I hope to see you around!
