Campus Compost Program

Launched in Spring 2021 with just 30 households, the Office of Sustainability’s Campus Compost Program has grown into a long-standing initiative supporting sustainable living for Colorado College students. Now, several years in, the program continues to provide students living on and off campus in the Colorado Springs area with the tools, training, and education needed to compost effectively. By offering composting infrastructure at no cost, this program helps build a culture of environmental responsibility and waste reduction across the CC community.
