Financial Aid Questions

Why isn't my loan credited to my student account?

There are many factors that may affect when a loan is credited to your student account.

  • aid award has not been accepted online
  • loan paperwork is not complete with the Financial Aid office
  • on-line entrance counseling is not completed (mandatory for a first-time borrower)
  • student must be enrolled and registered for the current semester.

Loans are typically credited to the student account within the first two weeks of school, after the check-in period, unless one of the items listed above is incomplete.

Why isn't my financial aid credited to my student account?

Similar to the factors impacting when a loan posts to your student account, there may be several reasons why your aid has not been credited to your account. Please contact the Financial Aid office at 719-389-6651 or financialaid@coloradocollege.edu or visit their website for specific information.
