cSpace
C&I is introducing cSpace, a welcoming space for all members of the CC community to explore their creativity.
What is cSpace?
In cSpace, students, faculty, and staff can focus on the exploratory process of creating and collaborating using a wide variety of materials such as paint (watercolor, acrylic), collage supplies (many types of paper, books, scraps, Mod Podge,) a printmaking station, musical tools, yarns, glue, and stamps and ink. The space also features sand play, Legos, K'NEX building blocks, and puzzles. It enables students to prototype and play as a way to think through an assignment or personal project. Faculty can teach classes that benefit from access to creative materials in cSpace.
Where is cSpace?
cSpace is located in the Creativity & Innovation building, 232 E Cache la Poudre St. (the northwest corner of Weber and Cache). When is cSpace open?
cSpace is open from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm every day. Individual key card access ends at 9:00 pm, but if students are already in the building, they do not need to leave. We just ask that students coordinate a safe way to their next destination.
How do you get access to cSpace?
cSpace is open to all members of the CC community. Individual key card access to the building begins with completing a tour of the space and signing a waiver. Tours are held on the first Tuesday and the second Thursday of every block. Tour registration is encouraged.
