The Creativity Lab
The Creativity Lab nurtures and amplifies creative teaching and learning across campus by providing broader access to creativity-building practices and pedagogies effective in higher education. Creativity exists across many facets of Colorado College, both in specific (individual courses and projects) and pilot spaces (often through C&I). The Creativity Lab identifies and provides access to strategies that are replicable and accessible at larger scales. To disseminate creativee thinking and creative problem-solving approaches, the Lab offers workshops, discussions, and mentoring services for faculty and students to understand, iterate, and practice creativity.
The Work of the Creativity Lab
- Training students to lead creative problem-solving workshops.
- Providing academic engagement and instructional design services for faculty.
- Offering space, materials, and support for students to learn and apply creative methods
- Providing access to creativity-related practices and pedagogies to a broader audience
