Dialogue Student Callers

The Colorado College Dialogue Program is CC’s student-led community outreach program. Our student ambassadors reach out to members of the CC community for one-on-one conversations—whether over the phone, via text, or through email—to hear your stories, catch up on what you’ve been up to since CC, share what’s happening on campus today, connect your passions with areas of support on campus, and update contact information along the way.

The Voices Behind Dialogue

Every interaction is a chance to strengthen the connections between CC and its people. Curious to see who is reaching out? Meet our students:

Major/Minor: Biochemistry (Major), possibly double minoring in Molecular Biology and Latin American Studies
Hometown: Dallas Area

Hello! My name is Luis (He/Him), a student of the Class of 2027 Colorado College majoring in Biochemistry and possibly double minoring in Molecular Biology and Latin American studies. I want to get into the field of Forensic Science, so I thought choosing a major that incorporates both chemical and biological topics would be a great fit for me. Being born and raised in North Texas, coming to study at CC was something I initially wasn’t planning to do, but I am glad I ended up here. I believe that CC has fostered a welcoming culture that allows people from an array of backgrounds to share their voices and experiences. From discussions about policy making to interdisciplinary discussions between STEM and the humanities, I’ve seen firsthand how CC creates these spaces and allows for innovation to come about. Some things I enjoy doing in my spare time include watching shows on streaming platforms, playing video games, and enjoying the small things in life like seeing the seasons actively change.
