Why I'm excited to be a Stroud Mentor this year: Knowing that I will be able to work with students that come from similar backgrounds like me, it excites me to know that I can help students achieve their goals and become better versions of themselves. Fun fact about me: I collect and make different types of tea. My favorite is Chai lattes.

Zaniya Bruno Munn ‘27Where you call home: St. Michaels, Barbados Major/Intended Major: Double Major in Psychology and Sociology with a Minor in Philosophy Things I'm involved with at CC: Secretary for Caribbean and African Student Union, Black Student Union, Black Women at CC, CC Students for Christ, CC Injustice Watch and many more. I am also a D3 Track and Field Athlete and Intramural Basketball Athlete, and I work for the Athletics Event Staff and Intramural Referee Staff on campus. Why I'm excited to be a Stroud Mentor this year: Having the privilege to have been apart of the first Stroud Scholars cohort and now to being a mentor, i envision guiding and supporting students who are in the same shoes I once was. Building community and lifelong network is a crucial aspect i am so excited to help bring to light this year. Seeing how beautifully Stroud has evolved since my years in the program is an experience I love witnessing and being apart of as well as learning from the younger students who are all at different stages of their lives. Stroud keeps my heart full and a huge aspect of my academic and personal career. Fun fact about me: My natural birth eye color was blue & my eyes change colors between gray and green depending on my mood |
