How to Do What We Do Better: 2021 CC Faculty & Staff Climate/Engagement Survey

Colorado College's 2021 Climate Survey was administered from December 1-22, 2021. As in the 2013 and 2015 surveys, the college asked for feedback from staff and faculty related to the overall campus climate in these areas:

  • Collaboration
  • Communication
  • Confidence in Senior Leadership
  • Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging
  • Faculty & Staff Well-being
  • Job Satisfaction & Support
  • Mission & Pride
  • Performance Management
  • Professional Development
  • Supervisors/Department Chair Effectiveness
  • Faculty Experience - comprising of five statements on curriculum planning, recognition of high-quality teaching, and the balance between teaching, service, and research

The open-ended questions in the 2021 climate survey were used to engage faculty and staff in Project 2024. Our focus for this survey was to hear from faculty and staff: Their thoughts, ideas, and feedback on what they like most about CC, what they think we could improve, and how we call on our strengths – as individuals and as an institution – to achieve our goals.  This valuable input will inform Project 2024 so that we can do what we do better.
