Wikipedia Skews White and Male. Let's Change that Together

Participants will:

1) Learn about under-coverage of women, people of color, and non-Western cultures and communities in Wikipedia
2) Be inspired by projects to address systemic bias, such as Art+Feminism, Black History edit-a-thons, and Canadian efforts to include indigenous voices and reflect the realities of settler colonialism
3) Hear from CC Professor Rebecca Barnes about her Women In STEM project and consider opportunities to get involved with class and/or community projects
4) Become part of an ongoing team of campus and community partners to help with this work
