The Maloney Lab is run by Dr. Ryan Maloney. The lab uses the fruit fly Drosophilamelanogaster to understand what factors lead individual flies to have different behaviors, with a focus on the neural circuits underlying behavior. Fruit fly individuality is studied using behavioral screening and genetic and pharmacological manipulations.
