Join us for Family Weekend!
We cannot wait to welcome our Tiger families back to campus for Family Weekend, one of our favorite traditions at Colorado College.
This is your invitation to step into your student’s world for the weekend. Sit in on a Micro Block class, wander our beautiful campus, explore Colorado Springs, experience campus events firsthand, and connect with the families, faculty, and staff who make the CC community so special.
Countdown to Family Weekend
See you soon, Tiger families.
Why come back for Family Weekend?
Because there is nothing quite like being here together!
By this point in the year, the pace of college life has settled in. The excitement of a new academic year has settled, blockly routines have taken shape, and for many students, the comforts of home are starting to feel a little nostalgic. Whether they say it or not, they will be so happy to see you.
So why not bring a bit of home to them?
It's time to reconnect
Family Weekend is meant to feel easy, fun, and genuinely meaningful. It is your time to reconnect, share a couple of delicious meals, and enjoy the kind of quality time that is hard to come by during the busy academic year. Get a glimpse into your student’s experience on Saturday morning while they are still sleeping, then spend the rest of the day doing whatever you love most together before joining us that evening for a grand celebration at Trainwreck.
We have intentionally designed the schedule with space to breathe, giving you time to explore, relax, and make the weekend your own. Our planned events are there to complement that experience, offering a thoughtful mix of opportunities to learn, connect, and celebrate alongside other CC families.
Looking for ideas of things to do or places to go in between events? Explore our curated list of local favorites, handpicked by your team in Parent and Family Engagement.
Event Access and Attendance
All events are first-come, first-served. It is important to note that adding an event to your registration helps us anticipate attendance but does not guarantee entry.
If there is something you are especially excited about, we recommend arriving early, particularly for events with limited capacity. These will be clearly noted in the schedule so you can plan ahead.
Events You Don't Want to Miss
Our largest and most popular gatherings are designated as Signature Events. Look for the star icon throughout the schedule below. These moments are open to all, designed with the entire family in mind, and capture the spirit of Family Weekend at CC. You will not want to miss them!
