About Us

The Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness (IRE) provides data and analytical support to the Colorado College community, informing data-driven planning, policy decisions, and institutional effectiveness. The office also has oversight of required reporting to several external agencies, including the U.S. Department of Education, the Colorado Department of Higher Education, the College’s accrediting body, and other professional organizations.


Core Functions

  • Collect, analyze, interpret, and report data about the College and higher education trends
  • Support institutional planning, evaluation, and institutional accreditation efforts
  • Coordinate research efforts (including survey design/administration), aligned with institutional priorities
  • Provide required data to external agencies and internal stakeholders
  • Promote data literacy across the College
