CC Ambassador Program
Purpose: Provide a talented CC resource to new staff who can answer questions about CC, foster connections across the campus community, and share CC's culture.
Goal: To ensure new staff have a successful transition to Colorado College and build relationships across the campus community that help the new employee thrive at CC.
CC Ambassador Criteria
- CC employee for at least one year
- Ability to meet the time committment of 30 minures to one-hour per week when assigned to a new employee for their first four to six weeks at the college
- Attend a one-hour CC Ambassador orientation/training session
- Excellent knowledge about the campus community's culture and history
- Strong engagement with the CC community
- Skilled in building positive working relationships and trust
- Supervisor support to participate in the Ambassador program
CC Ambassador Responsibilities
- Welcome new employees
- Be a source of information and resources
- Provide advice and feedback
- Be a neutral party to who the new employee will feel comfortable asking questions
- Connect with assigned new staff two to three times (includes introduction meeting) during the staff's first 30 to 45 days

How to Become or Nominate a CC Ambassador
- To become a CC Ambassador, send an email to Sara San Souci stating "Why you would make a great CC Ambassador"
- To nominate a CC Ambassador, send an email to Sara San Souci with the employee's name and "Why they would make a great CC Ambassador"
