Purpose: Provide a talented CC resource to new staff who can answer questions about CC, foster connections across the campus community, and share CC's culture.

Goal: To ensure new staff have a successful transition to Colorado College and build relationships across the campus community that help the new employee thrive at CC.

• CC employee for at least one year
• Ability to meet the time committment of 30 minures to one-hour per week when assigned to a new employee for their first four to six weeks at the college
• Attend a one-hour CC Ambassador orientation/training session
• Excellent knowledge about the campus community's culture and history
• Strong engagement with the CC community
• Skilled in building positive working relationships and trust
• Supervisor support to participate in the Ambassador program

• Welcome new employees
• Be a source of information and resources
• Provide advice and feedback
• Be a neutral party to who the new employee will feel comfortable asking questions
• Connect with assigned new staff two to three times (includes introduction meeting) during the staff's first 30 to 45 days
