Initial Leading CC session launched!

The initial cohort of Leading CC has launched.  Participants engaged in leadership development activities intended to help them enhance their impact on CC.  

This pilot program is an opportunity for faculty and staff at all levels (including people who don’t manage anyone directly) to work together to discover our leadership styles and how we can help each other ignite our passion, unleash our potential, and fulfill a shared purpose in support of Colorado College’s mission.

Participants reflect all parts of the organization:

  • Ashley Nicholas - Applications & Communications Manager 
  • Andy Obringer - Assistant Director, Adam F. Press Fitness Center 
  • Erica Shafer - Associate Director, Financial Aid Systems & Compliance 
  • Naomi Trujillo - Senior Project Manager 
  • Jamal Westry - Maintenance & Facilities Manager for Residential Housing 
  • Grayson Wilson - Desk Coordinator

Program structure

This program will be a series of three-hour sessions on Thursday afternoons of block breaks over the course of the 2023-2024 academic year. The current proposal is that we will learn about the following topics:

This program will be a small cohort, to allow for trust building and mutual support.  It will include individual coaching and personalized support.
