Feminist and Gender Studies is delighted to share that Ryan Aurora McLauchlan ’21 will be attending the Masters of Education in Counseling program at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA, starting this fall. The Master of Education in Counseling program “focuses on developing the knowledge and skills necessary for careers in the helping fields and prepares graduates to become certified school counselors and/or licensed mental health counselors.” Building on her dual training in Feminist and Gender Studies and Neuroscience, Ryan is looking forward to focusing on drug rehabilitation therapy and providing support to the loved ones of those struggling with substance abuse.
