Bridge Scholars Program
2025 Dates: August 4 - 14
Move-In Date: August 3
Optional Activities: August 18-Start of NSO (New Student Orientation)
The Bridge Scholars Program is a year-long initiative designed to offer a supportive community, personalized mentoring, and challenging coursework for first-year students. Participants arrive on campus two weeks before New Student Orientation begins, where they enroll in a two-week interdisciplinary course. Throughout the program, students gain insight into campus resources, collaborate with student and faculty mentors, and actively engage in the dynamic CC community.
Students are invited to join the Bridge Scholars Program through a holistic review process that considers the following factors:
- First-generation college status
- Participation in the QuestBridge national college match, Stroud Scholars program, or other community-based organizations.
- Environmental factors that may influence a student's transition to college, including socioeconomic status and the availability of resources at a student’s high school.
Admitted students who qualify for the Bridge Scholar Program will receive an invitation to join. If you have not received an invitation but are interested in participating in the Bridge Scholar Program, please contact Saúl Maravilla at smaravilla@coloradocollege.edu.
