B.A., History, cum laude

Phil is a previous member of the CC Board of Trustees (2000-2004). He is Vice President of UBS Wealth Management in Los Angeles. Formerly, he was director of investor relations at Griffis Residential, a private equity real estate firm (2013-2016), and an SVP at Capital Group Companies/Capital Guardian Trust Investor Company, involved in new business development and client services, for 27 years. He is founder and owner of Phil Swan Five, LLC which represents several fine artists, assisting them with their sales and marketing strategies. Phil is a trustee of the Della Martin Foundation (1995-present), serves on the Ann Peppers Foundation (director since 2012; current president), is director and current chair of the board of the LA Master Chorale (1997-2007, 2012-present), director of the National Audubon Society (2015-present), and a member of the Board of Governors of the Huntington Library. He received the Worner Award from CC in 2011 and is a member of the William Jackson Palmer Founders Society.
