Amy Louis

B.A., Economics
M.S., Management Studies with distinction, Northwestern University

Amy was an economics major at Colorado College. As a student, she was involved in alumni fundraising with the Dialogue program. She was president of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, active in intramural sports, and studied at The London School of Economics. Following graduation, Amy worked in New York for Morgan Guaranty Trust in New York. She earned a master's in management studies with distinction from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. Amy joined McKinsey and Company as a consultant, where she focused on healthcare. Subsequent to leaving McKinsey, Amy helped found a healthcare consulting firm, manage the preparation and unveiling of Sue, the world's largest T-Rex, and a variety of other projects. Amy now spends her professional time managing investment portfolios. In her spare time, Amy serves on the boards of The Morton Arboretum, The Avery Coonley School, The Chewuamegon Children's Theater, and The Lake Owen Association. Amy is married to Steve Louis '84. Together, they have founded Hinsdale Community Rowing. They have three sons.
