SW211 - Storytelling of the Self (in the SW)
This course combines literary, cultural, and historical analysis to examine how the U.S. Southwest has impacted and been represented in autobiographical representation (broadly defined). We will discuss the effects of place, race, class, and gender on self narratives and examine the dynamics of what constitutes a Southwest identity. Meets the Critical Learning: AIM requirement.
